Balocco family’s passion for sweets dates back to 1927, when Francesco Antonio Balocco opened his first confectionery shop in Fossano. Soon a second one was opened in the central street of Via Roma. After the war, thanks to the initiative of Aldo, Antonio’s son the current president of the company, Balocco became a modern industry. In 1970 was opened the new plant in Via Santa Lucia (70,000 square meters). Balocco is one of the most famous brands of confectionery in Italy. The annual average turnover reaches 150 millions Euros. The company is exporting in more than 63 countries (Europe, North America, Middle East, South East Asia, Australia, South Africa and South America).
